Standard Optimized are ideal for workloads that do not need the full performance of the CPU continuously, like web servers, proof of concepts, small to medium-sized databases and development build environments.
These workloads typically have burstable performance requirements and can benefit from the burstable features of these vm's which are designed to provide a baseline level of performance with the ability to burst to a higher level when needed.

This series run on the 3rd Generation Intel® Xeon® Platinum 8370C (Ice Lake) or the Intel® Xeon® Platinum 8272CL (Cascade Lake).
